The first thing you'll notice when you bring this near enough for your nose to catch its scent is the fragrance of vanilla and the wonderful amber colour. The taste is huge on vanilla and is very smooth, but you'll also notice a lovely orange flavour when it graces your lips as well. The taste does kind of linger, but it is pleasant. This was actually quite nice, but it is only 31%.
The Bar Test
This time it smells like a mix of orange and vanilla, which is actually really pleasant on the nostrils. Unfortunately, it doesn't really taste like much: it gives the coke a kind of watery fizzy flavour, but if you really try to find it, it kind of has a coffee flavour hidden there somewhere. A few moments after finishing your sip, you will also notice a coffee flavour appear in your mouth.
Probably best taken as a shot or mixed in a cocktail. Probably better in the latter on a nice fancy night. A nice example of a cocktail that this can be used in is the Irish Flag - feel free to check it out!
- Interestingly the orange flavour pretty much disappeared, but this still tasted like a lovely vanilla coffee. Couldn't taste the coke either!
- Not very different, but more vanilla than anything else now.
- Pretty much exactly the same as two shots, you can kinda taste the coke now.
- Watery coke with a vanilla after taste. More intense than vanilla coke though which is cool. You can sort of taste the coffee still, but its right in the back seat.
