Bailey's Salted Caramel Flavour

Bailey's Salted Caramel Flavour

The Shot

Smells exactly like caramel as it wafts to your nostrils, but strangely it isn't very abrasive and you have to go looking to find the scent. It is a wonderful scent worth finding though. The taste, is pretty much what you'd expect from a good quality caramel thick shake. There isn't really much else going on it it, its great and easy to drink with no burn, a quite, yet lasting aftertaste and a nice milkshake flavour while its in your mouth.

Pleasantly smooth and very easy to drink in the shot form.

The Bar Test

Swirling death is its appearance as the Bailey's mostly floats to the top with the coke mostly on the bottom. Smells faintly of caramel, but looks oddly frothy and unappealing. Strangely enough, this actually tastes amazing, aside from its unappealing looks. Don't judge a book by its cover and give it a go, this doesn't even taste chunky, mostly just like a caramel spider. It is actually and surprisingly great! We legitimately finished the whole thing!

Recommendations

Shots and cocktails are probably the place for this, but it does taste amazing with coke especially if you add the ice in the bar test. You do have you prepare yourself for the looks of it, but if you can stand the look of some swirling death cloud thing... You might just enjoy yourself.

Coke-O-Meter

  1. Looks weird, but smells like caramel. Tastes chunky, which isn't ideal, but it kind of tastes like you made a spider with caramel ice-cream, not too bad. Probably don't let it sit too long though.
  2. Further separating, not at all looking appetising. Smells the same, but a little bit less chunky (assumably because there's less Bailey's) and tastes mostly like coke with a bit of caramel in there. Still quite nice
  3. Looks like off milk at this point, ew. Smells like Bailey's - the normal one not the salted caramel one anymore. Tastes both peculiar and fizzy. Not really what I'd enjoy considering it's still chunky.
  4. Tastes like a nice coke spider, looks like death, smells faintly of caramel. Worth a try.
